Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about the services of the CAF and patronato in Cinisello Balsamo.
Where is the CAF in Cinisello Balsamo?
You will find us at Via Oreste Terenghi, 21/23, 20092 Cinisello Balsamo (MI), right opposite the ASL in Cinisello Balsamo. We are a few minutes from Sesto San Giovanni, Cusano Milanino, Bresso and Cormano. We have free parking and are reachable by public transport.
What services does the CAF and Patronato of Cinisello Balsamo offer?
We offer complete tax assistance (Modello 730, Redditi PF, ISEE and DSU, Modello RED for pensioners, IMU calculation, inheritances and volture, tenancy agreements, bonuses and reliefs, colf and badanti, tax advice) and patronato services (INPS social-security matters, pensions, civil disability, immigration and residence permits, legal and trade-union advice, SPID).
How much do the CAF's services cost?
The services of the CAF and of the patronato are subject to a fee: the cost is always communicated in advance, before starting the paperwork. The only free service is the first consultation at our office.
Do I need to book an appointment?
Yes, we recommend booking by phone on 02 8716 5567 or via WhatsApp, especially during peak periods (income tax returns and ISEE deadlines). You can also book online. This way you avoid waiting and are seen by an adviser dedicated to your case.
Does the CAF also act as a patronato?
Yes, our centre is both a CAF (Tax Assistance Centre) and a Patronato. This means you can come to us both for tax matters (730, ISEE, IMU) and for social-security and welfare matters (pensions, NASpI, civil disability, INPS procedures, immigration). Patronato services are subject to a fee: the cost is always communicated in advance. The first consultation is free.
What documents do I need for the Modello 730?
It depends on your situation. In general you'll need: your ID and codice fiscale, the last tax return you filed, your Certificazione Unica (CU), and the receipts for the expenses you want to claim — medical, rent or mortgage, education, renovations. If you have other sources of income, bring those as well. When you book, we'll tell you the exact list for your case.
How long does it take to complete a case?
The simpler ones, such as the 730 or an ISEE with complete documentation, are finished in a single appointment. Patronato cases — pensions, civil disability, family reunification — follow the authority's own timelines: we file the application and follow the case through to the outcome, keeping you informed along the way.
Can I appoint a family member to handle the case for me?
Yes. You'll need a written authorisation signed by you, a copy of your ID and a copy of the ID of the person you appoint. For some cases, such as social security matters, the authorisation is expressly required by the authority: we'll point you to the right form when you book.
Do you also assist people who don't speak Italian?
Yes. Most of the people we serve are foreign families, and in our office we make ourselves understood. This website is available in 13 languages, and in the office we can count on staff and interpreters for Arabic, Spanish, Romanian, Chinese and other languages. Let us know when you book, so we can arrange the right person for your case.
How do you pay? Can I pay by card?
The cost is communicated before the case is started. You pay in the office, when the work is done, by card, debit card or cash. For cases subject to taxes or fees — for example inheritances or the registration of a rental contract — the amounts owed to the State must be added, and we'll tell you about those separately.
What documents are needed to calculate the ISEE?
You'll need documents for every member of the household: codice fiscale, income for the reference year, the balance and average balance of bank accounts and passbooks as at 31 December, property assets with land registry records and cadastral income, and any rental contracts. If you already have a previous ISEE, bring it: it helps to check that nothing is missing.
Do you also deal with immigration and residence permits?
Yes, the Patronato handles immigration cases: renewal and conversion of residence permits, family reunification, residence card, Italian citizenship and registry registration. We help you fill in the forms, prepare the documents and meet the deadlines, which are the most delicate part of these cases.
I've received a tax collection notice (cartella esattoriale): what can I do?
Bring it to our office: we'll read it together and check whether the amount is correct and what the deadlines are. Depending on the case, you can file an application for payment in instalments, or an appeal, or else use the ravvedimento operoso to settle your position by paying reduced penalties. The more time passes, the more the interest grows: it's best to act straight away.
What happens to my personal data?
We process your data only to carry out the case you entrust to us and to meet the legal obligations that follow, for example transmission to the Agenzia delle Entrate or to INPS. We do not pass your data on to third parties for commercial purposes. You can request access, correction or deletion within the limits set by the GDPR.
Can I do the case remotely, or do I have to come to the office?
Some cases require the signature and verification of original documents, so coming to the office is necessary: this applies to the 730, inheritances and many Patronato cases. For others, such as the ISEE or a quote, we can start from the documents you send us on WhatsApp and complete the work in the office. Write to us and we'll tell you whether your case can be handled remotely.
