How it works: ISEE and DSU
The ISEE (Indicatore della Situazione Economica Equivalente) is the document certifying the economic situation of your household. It is needed to access nurseries, school canteens, reduced university fees, electricity and gas bonuses, and many other means-tested social benefits.
To obtain the ISEE you must submit the DSU (Dichiarazione Sostitutiva Unica) to INPS through a CAF or a patronato. Our staff collects the income and asset data of the household, completes the DSU and files it electronically.
We also assist with the ISEE corrente (for those whose income or assets have changed beyond the statutory thresholds) and with the ISEE università for scholarships and university fees. Submitting the DSU is a service subject to a fee: the cost is always communicated to you before starting the paperwork.

How much does it cost to get the ISEE at the CAF?
Submitting the DSU for the ISEE is a service subject to a fee. Before starting the paperwork we clearly tell you the cost; the first consultation is free.
Which documents are needed for the ISEE?
Identity document and codice fiscale of every member of the household, income documents (CU or 730), balance and average balance of bank accounts, and property and financial assets. The data refer to two years before the year of submission.
How long does it take to obtain the ISEE?
The DSU is processed in about 30-60 minutes if you have all the documents. The ISEE certificate is available within 10-15 working days of filing with INPS.
